Deerhoof @ Jive, January ’12

Deerhoof came onto the stage at Jive looking a little timid, but within one almighty intense opening number they warmed the entire crowd.

It’s hard to not like these guys.

If you are swayed by drummers and generally find yourself watching the percussion at a gig then Greg Saunier’s interesting hitting style will have you captivated. It’s incredible that he gets so much variety from his drums considering the simplicity of the kit!
