Kaki King @ Jive, November ’10

I’ve heard Kaki King to be described as a female Jimi Hendrix with an acoustic guitar.

Watching her tonight and hearing the sounds she made with her guitars, I can see the comparison.

A quick wit had her fans laughing heavily between songs, including directly at the rather inebriated woman in the front row, as Kaki tried to pacify her by calling her “Mum” and telling her she was “rather embarrassing”.
