The Melvins @ Adelaide Soundwave, March ’11

The first clash of two bands I really didn’t want to miss: Melvins on one stage and Iron Maiden on another stage all the way at the opposite end of the festival grounds and both starting at the same time!!

I took the chances that the Melvins would start on time and Iron Maiden may be a few minutes behind – I shot for literally the first song and then legged it straight to the main stage for Iron Maiden.

Apologies to the 20 or so people I bashed into and the two dudes who I knocked drinks out of their hands on the way!
